Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

From Tuesday 24th July  the Skippers of the Jersey Sailing Trust will be available three days per week for a sailing programme that will depend largely on the tide and weather condition on the day.

Each Tuesday and Thursday they will provide half day sailing activity to enable novices and experienced crew members to gain experience of handling a blue water yacht and then on Saturday the agenda will switch to sailing in the fleet of International Etchells.

For all activities the novices and the experienced crew are expected to be current subscribing members who will also need to book their place on the relevant day and ensure that the day-sailing fee is paid online on a “pay-as-you-go” basis.

The programme for weekday offshore sailing will alternate between morning sailing and afternoon sailing depending on how the high tide permits exit and re-entry into Elizabeth Marina. To assess this timing please refer to the web page http://www.jerseysailingtrust.com/Diary-Raddedas.htm which will carry timings. If you have any questions about these days then please contact admin@jerseysailingtrust.com

The weekends may also have offshore sailing opportunities which will be posted in due course as the skippers notify of their availability. These opportunities will include sailing to Guernsey, Sark, Granville, Chausey and St Malo.

Saturday mornings will predominantly provide for inshore sailing, sailing lessons and class racing using the fleet of three 30ft keelboats, the Jersey Etchells. This is everyone’s opportunity to get their sailing skills sensitised in light winds and short sprint type races within the safety of St Aubins Bay.

If you wish to get on board at some time in the future then get on board now with your £5.35 monthly subscription Click Here.  Then you need to contact adminso that your membership can be renewed or a new Membership Application Form will be emailed to you to complete and return before you get on board one of the yachts.

We are especially keen to hear and invite enquiries staff associations for staff outings and maybe “Sail & Dine” events. But also we would like to hear from human resources (HR) departments to demonstrate how sailing can develop team spirit and team building in general.
